External Carriage Sequence Number according to Circular 20/2018/TT-BGTVT

April 26, 2018, the Ministry of Transport issued Circular 20/2018/TT-BGTVT stipulating information, directions, passenger service equipment, and safety equipment on railway vehicles.

Appendix issued attached to Circular No. 20/2018/TT-BGTVT specifies in detail the external order number plate of the carriage as follows:

Material: aluminum sheet or stainless steel
Plate size: 150 mm x 220 mm x 1 mm
Number height: 100 mm
Number color: reflective red paint
Plate background color: white

Note: The number plate has clips to hang on the outside of the carriage when handling passengers at the station.
