The exam will take place on June 27, 28, 29 and 30, 2023. The specific exam schedule for subjects is as follows:

2. Some notes when considering the recognition of high school graduation in 2023 in Vietnam

Recognition of high school graduation is carried out according to the provisions of Chapter VIII of the High School Graduation Examination Regulations issued together with Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT, amended by Circular 05/2021/TT-BGDDT and Circular 06/2023/TT-BGDDT (hereinafter referred to as Exam Regulations); note some of the following points:

* When considering recognition of high school graduation:

- Candidates who are continuing education students are not subject to classification or study in the form of guided self-study. If they are given special consideration according to the provisions of Article 37 of the Exam Regulations, they are not required to have conduct classification conditions.

- Reservation of exam scores is prescribed in Article 38 of the Exam Regulations; and is applicable to candidates who have taken the 2022 High School Graduation Exam to consider recognition of high school graduation in 2023.

- For candidates who are eligible to take the exam but do not have an average score for the entire 12th grade year as prescribed, only the test scores from the prescribed exams will be used to calculate the score for recognition of high school graduation.

- If the candidate has both a Vocational Certificate and an Intermediate Diploma, the candidate can only use one of the above two documents to receive incentive points; If a candidate has multiple Vocational Certificates or Intermediate Diplomas as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 40 of the Exam Regulations, incentive points will only be awarded to the 01 Certificate/Diploma with the highest result.

- Foreign Language and Information Technology certificates specified in Clause 3, Article 40 of the Exam Regulations are certificates issued according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. Encouragement points for these certificates are reserved throughout the entire educational level and are added to test scores to calculate graduation points.

* The Director of the Department of Education and Training is responsible before the Ministry of Education and Training for approving the results of high school graduation recognition for local candidates in accordance with the Exam Regulations.

* Before officially announcing the High School Graduation List, units must send reporting data to the Ministry of Education and Training.

3. Software used in the National High School Graduation Exam 2023 in Vietnam

- Units agree to use software in the exam provided by the Ministry of Education and Training, including:

+ Software for managing high school graduation exams and admission to universities, colleges, and exam support software (referred to as the QLT System);

+ Multiple choice exam scoring software.

- Units must ensure compliance with the regulations of the exam on assigning and managing personnel to perform the tasks of using equipment and software to serve the organization of the Exam.
