In Article 72 of the Draft Law on Amendments to Law on Emulation and Commendation 2019, the criteria for consideration for awarding the Diploma of Merit from the Prime Minister of Vietnam to employees are specified as follows:
- Achieving significant or outstanding accomplishments in labor and production with an impact within the district level;
- Workers having initiatives that bring high-value benefits with an impact within the district level and contributing to training, fostering, and assisting colleagues to improve professional skills and expertise;
- Farmers with effective and stable production models for 2 years or more, supporting other farmers in poverty alleviation and creating jobs for employees;
- Entrepreneurs with numerous achievements who make important contributions to the development of the district or equivalent, or of the sector, recognized by the ministerial or provincial authorities.
Thus, this draft prescribes the criteria for consideration for awarding the Diploma of Merit from the Prime Minister of Vietnam to exemplary workers, farmers, and employees who comply well with the policies of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the laws of the State.
