Conditions for Doctoral Training Recruitment

1. Holds a university degree with distinction or higher, or a master's degree.

2. Is the author of 01 newspaper article or report related to the intended research field, published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal or in the proceedings of a scientific conference or workshop within 03 years (36 months) up to the registration date for the entrance exam.

3. The candidate is a Vietnamese citizen and must have one of the following diplomas or certificates to prove foreign language proficiency:

- A university degree or master's degree awarded by a foreign educational institution to a full-time student studying abroad, where the language of instruction is English or another foreign language;- A university degree in foreign languages awarded by Vietnamese educational institutions;- An English proficiency certificate TOEFL iBT score of 45 or above or IELTS (Academic Test) score of 5.0 or above, awarded within 02 years (24 months) up to the registration date for the entrance exam by an internationally and nationally recognized testing organization;- The candidate who meets the requirements stipulated in point a, clause 3, Article 5 of Circular 08/2017/TT-BGDDT, where the language used during study is not English; or meets the requirements of point b, clause 3, Article 5 of Circular 08/2017/TT-BGDDT for a university degree in a foreign language other than English; or has other foreign language certificates equivalent (as specified in Appendix II) under the regulation in point c, this clause, awarded within 02 years (24 months) up to the registration date for the entrance exam by an internationally and nationally recognized testing organization, must have the ability to communicate in English in their field (able to express issues related to their field in English and understand others presenting those issues in English).- Candidates for doctoral training in English language major must have a certificate in a foreign language other than English at an equivalent level awarded within 02 years (24 months) up to the registration date for the entrance exam by an internationally and nationally recognized testing organization; or meets the requirements stipulated in point a, clause 3, Article 5 of Circular 08/2017/TT-BGDDT, where the language used during study is not English; or meets the requirements of point b, clause 3, Article 5 of Circular 08/2017/TT-BGDDT for a university degree in a foreign language other than English.

4. The candidate is a foreign citizen and must have a minimum Vietnamese proficiency level of Level 4 according to the Vietnamese Proficiency Framework for foreigners or meet foreign language requirements as specifically stipulated by the educational institution.

5. Meets the criteria for management experience and seniority as required by the specific field of study as stipulated by the head of the educational institution.
