From February 10, 2019, Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) regulating the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college programs in mechanical engineering and related fields will take effect in Vietnam.
Basic Knowledge taught in College program in automobile assembly in Vietnam
According to the regulations on the basic knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from the intermediate level and college level in the automotive assembly industry, issued together with Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum knowledge that learners must achieve after graduating from College program in automobile assembly in Vietnam are as follows:
- Presenting the model of Industry 4.0 in production activities and related applications to network connectivity and digitization in the automotive assembly profession;
- Presenting the general structure of automobiles, the functions, and operating principles of the systems in automobiles;
- Identifying the new technologies in each different vehicle line during the assembly process;
- Describing the technological process of assembling automobiles for each vehicle line;
- Presenting the standards and regulations on technical inspection of automobiles;
- Identifying the names, properties, and technical requirements of materials and components for automotive assembly;
- Presenting the operating principles of automotive assembly tools and equipment;
- Evaluating the technical condition of tools, machinery, and equipment used for the production and assembly of automobiles;
- Analyzing and evaluating the quality of assembled products;
- Assessing factors ensuring labor safety, environmental hygiene, and fire and explosion prevention;
- Presenting the management principles, methods of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising in automotive assembly activities;
- Presenting basic knowledge on politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, physical education as regulated.
