Adjustment and Establishment of Wards under Go Vap District, District 12, and Tan Binh District

the Government of Vietnam promulgated Decree 143/2006/ND-CP adjusting the administrative boundaries of wards, districts, and establishing wards under Go Vap District, District 12, and Tan Binh District of Ho Chi Minh City.

The establishment of wards in various districts is as follows:

	Ward 9 Based on adjusting the natural area of 55.40 hectares and a population of 17,012 from Ward 12; 28.44 hectares and 5,860 people from Ward 11.
	Ward 6 Based on adjusting the natural area of 164.75 hectares and a population of 22,428 from Ward 17.
District 12	Tan Hung Thuan Ward Based on adjusting the natural area of 181.08 hectares and a population of 24,829 from Dong Hung Thuan Ward.

At the same time, adjust the natural area of 0.74 hectares from Ward 15 in Tan Binh District to Ward 12 in Go Vap District for management.

Thus, after the establishment and adjustment:

- Tan Binh District has a natural area of 2,237.53 hectares and a population of 432,150, comprising 15 administrative units including the wards: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15.

- Go Vap District has a natural area of 1,975.85 hectares and a population of 491,122, comprising 16 administrative units including the wards: 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17.

- District 12 has a natural area of 5,274.9 hectares and a population of 307,449, comprising 11 wards including: Thanh Xuan, Hiep Thanh, Thoi An, Thanh Loc, Tan Chanh Hiep, Tan Thoi Hiep, An Phu Dong, Trung My Tay, Tan Thoi Nhat, Dong Hung Thuan, and Tan Hung Thuan.
