05 Types of Commendations within the State Bank of Vietnam

According to Circular 08, the types of commendations in the State Bank include:

- Commendations based on meritorious service and achievements: This form of commendation is for collectives and individuals who have outstanding achievements or have excellently completed their assigned tasks, contributing to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.

- Thematic commendations (or periodic commendations): This type of commendation is for collectives and individuals who have achieved outstanding results after a competition campaign launched by the President, the Prime Minister, the Governor, or heads of agencies and units within the banking sector.

- Extraordinary commendations: This form of commendation is for collectives and individuals who have achieved unexpected accomplishments in labor, production, or combat service; bravery in saving people or the property of the people or the State (extraordinary achievements are those achieved under unforeseen circumstances, outside the planned program, or beyond the duties that the collective or individual had to undertake).

- Commendations for dedication: This type of commendation is for individuals who have participated in activities during the revolutionary periods, held leadership or management positions in state agencies, public service providers, political organizations, and socio-political organizations, and have made significant contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Communist Party and the nation.

- Foreign commendations: This form of commendation is for foreign collectives and individuals who have made contributions to the cause of building and protecting Vietnam in the economic field.
