04 Groups of Indicators for Building Green Growth Cities

On January 05, 2018, the Ministry of Construction issued Circular 01/2018/TT-BXD regulating indicators for green urban development.

According to Circular 01, the green urban growth indicators include 24 indicators divided into 4 groups. To be specific:

- The economic indicators group comprises 5 indicators aimed at evaluating economic growth efficiency in terms of energy use and natural resource utilization in urban construction and development investment;- The environment indicators group includes 10 indicators aimed at assessing the urban environment quality and landscape, the extent of applying solutions for efficient energy use, renewable energy utilization, environmental protection, and pollution reduction, waste discharge, and greenhouse gas emissions in urban development;- The social indicators group consists of 4 indicators aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of improving urban residents' quality of life and living conditions;- The institutional indicators group consists of 5 indicators aimed at assessing the management, direction, and administration of urban authorities concerning green urban growth construction.
