According to the guidelines in Official Dispatch No. 3162/BHXH-CSXH by Vietnam Social Security, the monthly survivor allowance for dependents receiving monthly survivor allowances from July 01, 2017, is as follows:

- For the benefit level equal to 40% of the statutory pay rate, the monthly allowance = 520,000 VND (40% of statutory pay rate 1,300,000 VND);- For the benefit level equal to 50% of the statutory pay rate, the monthly allowance = 650,000 VND (50% of statutory pay rate 1,300,000 VND);- For the benefit level equal to 70% of the statutory pay rate, the monthly allowance = 910,000 VND (70% of statutory pay rate 1,300,000 VND).
According to Official Dispatch 3162, the retirement pension, social insurance allowance, monthly allowance, and occupational accident and disease compensation from July 1, 2017, will be adjusted to increase by 7.44% compared to the rates as of June 2017.
